Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2021, at Colonial Funeral Home for Rylee Danielle Martin, 11, of Foxworth, who passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 22. Burial followed in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dave Nichols and Rev. Ron Jordan officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, at Colonial Funeral Home.
She was a homeschooler and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where she was active in the children’s ministry and sang in the choir. Her hobbies included gymnastics and softball. She also had a huge love of animals and was a ray of sunshine to everyone, especially her brother and sister to whom she had a close and inseparable bond.
Survivors include her parents, Bryce and Rebekah Martin; sister, Katelee Grace Martin; brother, Owen Chase Martin; maternal grandparents, Rickey Lee Davis and Shelia Hunt Davis; paternal grandparents, Rev. Willie Martin and Pauline Martin, and a host of aunts, uncles and other extended family and friends.
Pallbearers were Bryce Martin, Owen Martin, Willie Martin, Rickey Davis, Joshua Davis and Ryan Davis. Honorary pallbearers were Brock Martin and Brant Martin.
