Two men are facing charges in connection with thefts from Stringer Oilfield Services, Pearl River Valley Electric Power Association and Looks Great Services.
The Columbia Police Department arrested Paul Raymond Daniels Jr., 29, of Columbia and charged him with three counts of burglary and also charged Justin Goings of Columbia with multiple counts of receiving stolen property.
Lt. Cmdr. Jonathan Harrison said a variety of items were taken. “All of the burglaries occurred within about a week of each other in early June,” Harrison said. “It took over a month to put it all together.”
Kristian Agoglia of Looks Great Services said he was thankful police were able to make the arrests.
“We appreciate the tireless efforts of the Columbia Police Department to protect our community and its citizens and quickly bring to justice those who break the law,” he said in a statement. “Additional measures we’ve taken at Helanbak and Looks Great Services include utilizing night security patrols and contracting with Quality Alarm Systems to install a comprehensive camera system across all our buildings and properties.”
Daniels was arrested on July 26 and has since bonded out of the Marion County Regional Correctional Facility.
