Business was short and sweet Tuesday night at the Marion County school board meeting.
The budget for the school year was approved. The advertised amount of the district’s annual budget was $23.4 million.
In other action the board approved the resignation of Topeneka Bridges as a bus driver.
It approved four new hires:
• Jerry Rodgers, bus driver;
• Kayla Bittinger as an East Marion Elementary teacher’s assistant
• Bethany Parker and Tommie May as East Marion Elementary teachers.
There being no other business, the meeting was adjourned.
