Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies are seeking a man who is considered armed and dangerous in connection with a death investigation.
Chief Deputy Jamie Singley said late Saturday that authorities are seeking Ronnie Smith of the Kokomo area.
“About 11 p.m. Friday night, the Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Kokomo area and found a deceased subject,” he said. “We are considering this a suspicious death investigation. We’re looking for Ronnie Smith in connection with the case as a person of interest. He should be considered armed and dangerous.”
Singley said anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at (601) 736-2711.
“At this point, we can’t release much information on the case based on the circumstances,” he said. “We will release more information at a later time.”
