The National Day of Prayer is set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7 in the grass parking area of the Columbia Expo Center.
Local coordinator Dal Murray said people can drive up and stay in their vehicles or there is plenty of space to spread out and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
The theme is “God’s Glory Across the Earth.” Based on the scripture Habakkuk 2:14, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”
There will be a national broadcast beginning at 7 p.m. through Facebook Live and other medias on May 7 as well.
