Columbia's 3% tourism tax generated $58,108 in November, bringing the fiscal-year-to-date total to $304,911.
Mayor Justin McKenzie said the sales tax collections in November increased by 4.3% over last year.
Based on the first five months, the tourism tax is on pace to generate about $731,000 for the fiscal year that ends June 30, 2020.
Voters approved the extra 3% sales tax on restaurants and hotels in a May referendum, and the money is going toward tourism and parks projects, including a sportsplex.

•July: $57,003
•August: $64,691
•September: $58,584
•October: $66,245
