A pair of Marion County teams walked away from Pearl High School with medals, as the Columbia Lady Wildcats and East Marion Lady Eagles finished as state runners-up.
The Lady Wildcats didn’t quite meet their goal of repeating as Class 4A state champions, but finishing as the runners-up is an accomplishment in itself.
