CA Cougars open season with four road victories

When Columbia Academy head coach Keith Stanley constructed the 2024 schedule for the Cougars, he made it a point of emphasis to schedule nothing but public schools early. It just so happened that their first four games were on the road, and it just so happened that the Cougars won each of them.

Eagles face McAdams in quarterfinals

The East Marion Eagles are set to take on McAdams in Raymond Thursday after knocking off West Tallahatchie 54-46 at home Saturday in the second round of the Class 1A playoffs.

It was a tight game all the way through, with the Eagles holding a 25-21 lead at halftime before fending off the Choctaws in the second half to advance.
