CA stumbles against top district competition

Before the Columbia Academy Lady Cougars and Cougars took on Oak Forest Academy and Brookhaven Academy last week, both coaches knew that their teams were facing stiff district competition. The pair of schools were too much for both CA teams to handle, as the Cougars and Lady Cougars were swept Jan. 9 and Friday.

White hosting youth baseball camp Saturday at The Yards

Colby White, a pitcher in the Tampa Bay Rays organization and former West Marion standout, is hosting the All-Star Baseball Camp at The Yards Saturday.

The 2022 Minor League Reliever of the Year will host youth ages 6-16 in a camp aimed to build the skill of future Marion County sluggers.
