Lady Eagles outlast Lady Trojans 39-34 Friday

In a close, defensive battle that featured many turnovers, the East Marion Lady Eagles prevailed 39-34 against the West Marion Lady Trojans Friday in Foxworth.

Neither coach was particularly pleased with their respective team’s performance, but it was Calvin Brown’s Lady Eagles that pulled away to come out on top.

Wildcats smother Seminary 54-22 ahead of rivalry clashes

Friday was no different, as show-stealers Taviyun Johnson of the Trojans and Donny Anderson of the Eagles waged war for 32 minutes in West Marion’s exciting 60-59 triumph in Foxworth.
