‘Catastrophic mistakes’ doom the Trojans at Lumberton

While playing at Lumberton Friday, the West Marion Trojans played competent football for the majority of the night outside of a few plays. It just so happened that those few plays were disastrous turnovers, and they caused a snowball effect that led to a 42-8 loss.

Eagles fall to West Harrison after early deficit

It was a tale of two halves for East Marion Friday, as its stout defensive performance in the second half was enough to give the Eagles a fighting chance. The 28-6 halftime score proved too steep a hill for the Eagles to overcome, though, as they fell to West Harrison 28-12.

Stars shine bright in CHS rout of Petal
