CA, West Marion win state titles as archers hit their mark

Archery has come alive as a sport in Marion County with all of the local schools involved in competitions. Many of the programs have produced winners, and all have had teams place in the top 10 within their divisions, including Columbia Academy winning two state titles and West Marion Elementary claiming a state championship.

Lady Wildcats win 4-4A Championship, Wildcats place 2nd

The Columbia Lady Wildcats dominated the Region 4-4A Championship Saturday at Pass Christian High School, claiming first place. The Wildcats just missed out on first place but still had a great showing by coming in second place.
