Local Marines celebrated the 248th birthday (Nov. 10) of the Marine Corps Nov. 9 at Seed’s Café where they were treated to a breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuits and fellowship. Al Webb and Lori Bush continue the Marine Corps tradition of the oldest Marine cutting and presenting the first piece of cake to the youngest Marine present to symbolize the passing of wisdom and experience.
