CHS thumps Wesson to open district

Columbia High School opened district play last Friday with a 47-27 homecoming win over Wesson.
Coach James Harvey said the Wildcats (3-3, 1-0) played well after having a week off before picking up the pigskin at Walter Payton Field at Gardner Stadium in front of a large crowd.
