NATIONAL SUMMARY
A deepening area of low pressure will bring the chance of
severe thunderstorms tomorrow for portions of the southern
United States. Storms may be ongoing early Tuesday in
eastern zones of Oklahoma and Texas. These thunderstorms
could bring downpours, damaging winds and travel disruptions
to areas from southern Missouri into parts of Mississippi by
day's end. The northern, colder end of this system will
touch off accumulating snow from eastern South Dakota
through northern Minnesota and into western Ontario.
Elsewhere, a significant winter storm will continue to press
across the Intermountain West, delivering several inches of
snow around the Montana/Wyoming border and throughout the
Four Corners region. The East should remain dry beyond some
morning flurries in northern New England.
