The Nation's Weather for Friday, October 20, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will track across the East tomorrow, delivering
plenty of showers from the Great Lakes into the Northeast
including most of New England by day's end. As a portion of
the storm intensifies off the coast, heavier showers and
even some afternoon thunderstorms will take shape for
interior sections of the mid-Atlantic states, extending
southward through much of the Southeast coastline. Outside
of a few morning thunderstorms along parts of Florida's
Atlantic coast, the rest of the South will be dry tomorrow,
with many places turning a bit warmer than today. A
fast-moving storm will bring the risk for showers to
northeastern Minnesota, but the rest of the nation is
expected to be dry under a vast area of high pressure.
