NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers will continue across the Northeast tomorrow as a
storm begins to move offshore. Steadier rain will be found
across northern New England. It will also be windy across
this region, with wind gusts up to 30-40 mph possible. On
the other side of the country, showers will spread across
the Northwest and northern Rockies, with steadier rain and
drizzle focused across Northern California, as a storm moves
onshore. A storm moving across the central Plains can bring
a few showers to the region, mainly during the afternoon
hours. It will be another very warm day across the Southwest
and South Central regions as high pressure remains overhead.
Temperatures can be as much as 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit
higher than the historical average. Elsewhere across the
country, dry conditions with some sunshine will persist.
