NATIONAL SUMMARY
A quick-moving storm will bring lake-effect snow showers
across portions of the Great Lakes tomorrow, while the
Northeast continues to experience dry and seasonably mild
conditions. Farther south, rain will gather from western
Texas to Georgia as a developing storm travels along the
Gulf coast. On the other side of the nation, showers will
spread across the West Coast states and as far east as
Nevada. Snow can fall mainly in the higher elevations in the
Sierra Nevada and across Nevada. In addition, steadier rain
may develop for a time across Southern California. Some
morning fog can develop across the central Plains during the
morning, which may lead to icy spots on roadways with
morning low temperatures below freezing. Dry weather will
continue across the center of the nation.
