The Nation's Weather for Thursday, January 25, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow will bring another active day to the South and
eventually parts of the Southeast as a slow-moving storm
finally shifts to the east, with heavy rain and embedded
thunderstorms that can bring enhanced downpours to areas
that have already faced flooding issues earlier this week.
The same storm will extend northward into the Midwest and
southern zones of the Northeast, with a general steady rain
extending into Wisconsin and wet conditions in store for
some in southern New England. Most of the area from the
northern High Plains through the nation's center will be
dry. However, the West will continue to face some wintry
conditions in spots as the latest storm advances, with snow
from western Colorado into Idaho and rain along the coast
from Washington into Oregon.
