The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, March 5, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Another warm day is in store for much of the East tomorrow,
however an approaching cold front will spread showers and
thunderstorms from the Great Lakes to the Gulf Coast.
Meanwhile, a separate storm off the coast of the Northeast
will bring rain to this region. Temperatures will trend a
few degrees lower than the previous day and closer to
historical averages. On the other side of the nation, a few
lingering rain and snow showers will continue in the higher
elevations of the Intermountain West. Steadier rain and snow
can develop from western Wyoming to Northern California.
Across the center of the country, conditions will not be
quite as warm as previous days, however temperatures will
still be above historical averages. A quick-moving storm can
bring some snow to North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota.
