NATIONAL SUMMARY
A strong storm traveling across the central and eastern
United States will spread rain and thunderstorms from the
Great Lakes to the Southeast tomorrow. Two separate zones of
severe thunderstorms are expected, with damaging wind gusts
and flooding downpours possible from eastern Mississippi to
western Georgia. Portions of Indiana, southern Michigan and
western Ohio can also have thunderstorms with heavy
downpours, damaging wind gusts and hail. On the cold side
of the storm, snow will begin to taper off across Iowa and
Minnesota, leaving dry but cold conditions behind. Another
storm off the coast of the Northeast will spread some rain
and drizzle across southern New England. On the other side
of the nation, rain and snow showers will continue across
portions of the Rockies and the Northwest.
