NATIONAL SUMMARY
A major storm will start to take shape over the center of
the nation tomorrow, with severe thunderstorms expected to
develop from Iowa to West Virginia near a warm front,
bringing the risk for hail and damaging winds into the
nighttime hours. Residents south of the warm front from
Texas through the South and into the Midwest can expect
increasing humidity and warmer conditions through the day,
but largely dry weather. The Northeast also looks mainly dry
beneath high pressure. However, the West remains active as
an expansive storm produces areas of rain and snow
stretching from Montana through the Rockies and into
Arizona, as well as much of Central and Southern California,
perhaps bringing gusty thunderstorms with small hail to the
Los Angeles area.
