The Nation's Weather for Friday, April 5, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will continue to remain over the Northeast tomorrow,
bringing rain and snow showers across this region as well as
the Great Lakes. Additionally, rain and snow showers can
occur in the Appalachians as far south as eastern Tennessee.
Meanwhile, another storm will spread rain and mountain snow
from the West Coast to Utah, western Montana and western
Wyoming. There can be a rumble of thunder across Idaho as
well as in Central and Southern California, where
thunderstorms can produce small hail. Strong winds will
develop across the higher elevations in the Four Corners
states. Much of the Plains will be breezy but dry as a zone
of high pressure sits over the region. Gusty winds and dry
conditions can lead to an elevated risk of wildfires from
eastern Colorado to western Texas.
