NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm moving across the central United States will spread
showers to the southern Midwest and middle Mississippi
Valley tomorrow. There can be a few rumbles of thunder in
Missouri. Spotty thunderstorms will dot northern New England
and the Southeast coast. Along the Carolina coast,
thunderstorms can be slow-moving and lead to additional
flooding concerns. It will be primarily dry with
near-seasonable temperatures in the West, there can be a
spotty afternoon or evening thundershower in Rockies. Along
the West coast, it will be cool with areas of low clouds
during the morning. Meanwhile, the valleys of California and
interior Pacific Northwest bake. Elsewhere, it will be hot
across the southern Plains. Across the northern Plains and
Midwest it will be cool with a blend of clouds and sun.
