The Nation's Weather for Saturday, March 26, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Cold air in the upper atmosphere will lead to rain and snow
showers in the Great Lakes, Northeast and northern
mid-Atlantic tomorrow. Localized snow squalls early in the
day in southwestern Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia
may lead to a quick coating of snow, especially on non-paved
surfaces. Elsewhere, temperatures above freezing should
result in little or no snow accumulation. Farther east, the
air will be just warm enough for rain showers along the
coast. However, any heavier showers may contain small hail
or even a rumble of thunder. Rain will begin to move ashore
in western Washington and northern Oregon. The rest of the
nation is expected to be dry. Record-challenging heat will
continue in the Southwest, although much of the West will be
warm.
