The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, October 15, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, it will be damp and dreary across the Northeast
and the Great Lakes with a few showers. In the higher
terrain of New York and New England, snow will mix in with
rain, before transitioning to primarily snow showers
overnight. Meanwhile, a storm will spread rain and drizzle
as it moves across the Pacific Northwest. The rest of the
country will be dry, except for the Southwest where there
can be a spotty afternoon thunderstorm. It will continue to
be warm in the interior West, but record-breaking heat will
come to an end for the Southwest. For the eastern third of
the country it will be cool with temperatures similar to
November. In the Plains, dry weather and breezy conditions
can lead to an elevated fire danger. Along the Gulf coast it
will be less humid, sunny and pleasant.
