NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms from central and eastern Texas will extend
into eastern Oklahoma and Kansas, western Arkansas into much
of Missouri tomorrow. Thunderstorms are expected to be
severe and bring hail, flash flooding, tornadoes and
widespread damaging wind gusts. The greatest risk for flash
flooding is in eastern Oklahoma and westen Missouri and
Arkansas. Existing drought conditions and previous heavy
rainfall can exacerbate flooding, especially in Oklahoma. A
corridor of rain and showers will also extend up into much
of the Midwest. Snowflakes can fly across the mountains in
Colorado and New Mexico, especially above 7,000 feet. A
storm moving into the Norhwest can bring heavy rain to
western Washington and showers to much of Oregon and
Washington east of the Cascades.
