NATIONAL SUMMARY
From eastern Louisiana into Alabama, Mississippi and western
Tennessee thunderstorms may lead to ponding on roads and
potentially localized flash flooding tomorrow. Showers and a
thunderstorm will cover much of the Mississippi River
Valley. Showers will extend north into much of the Midwest
and some of the Plains. In the West, a storm will bring rain
to much of the Coast and areas from the Cascades east from
Northern California into Canada. Along the Interstate 5
corridor of Oregon and Washington there can be ponding on
roads and highways. In western Washington, Oregon and
northwestern California it may be windy which can also
disrupt travel. Along the immediate Coast where it is very
windy, there can be large swells. In the Northeast and
mid-Atlantic it should remain largely dry and cool.
