_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm across the Plains tomorrow can bring ice accretion
to Iowa in the morning, which can turn to rain from Des
Moines southward in the afternoon. Snow can accumulate in
southern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities metro area
with 1 to 3 inches. Rain will spread across the Mississippi
River Valley, which can lead to ponding on roads. A major
storm out West will bring heavy rain and wind from the San
Francisco Bay area up to Northern California; this can lead
to power outages, landslides near steep terrain, localized
flooding and rising creeks and rivers. In the Sierras,
blizzard conditions with heavy snowfall are expected, which
includes Donner Pass on Interstate 80. Travel along I-5 near
