NATIONAL SUMMARY
A tropical rainstorm will move onshore in South Texas
tomorrow leading to very heavy rain and thunderstorms. This
system will produce several inches of rain for areas, which
will be beneficial, but come at the cost of flash flooding
as well. Additional storms will also form along the Gulf
coast, some of which could also be heavy. More heavy showers
and thunderstorms will develop over the Rocky Mountains in
the afternoon. Some of these storms could lead to flash
flooding. Another system moving through the Great Lakes into
the Ohio Valley will spread some showers and thunderstorms
from northern Michigan, southward to West Virginia and even
into North Carolina later in the afternoon. A few showers
will also develop across Maine.
