NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tropical Rainstorm Ian will continue to bring periods of
rain and gusty winds from Virginia, through eastern
Massachusetts, tomorrow. Incidents of flash flooding and
power outages are possible with any rain and wind within the
aforementioned area. Dry and cool conditions are forecast to
continue over northern New England and the Great Lakes.
Farther west, a sprawling storm will bring areas of rain,
thunderstorms and high-country snow to parts of Montana,
Wyoming and Colorado. Thunderstorms are also expected to
erupt farther south into northern areas of Arizona and New
Mexico. Most other areas are forecast to be dry and sunny,
with pleasant conditions expected to expand across the
central United States.
