Nancy A. McNeese Elbert passed away on Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at her residence. Born and raised in Southern Miss, Nancy married the man of her dreams and lived the life of a military wife and mom. She raised a family living across the south and west alway yearning to be home. After her husband passed away, the daughter of Mississippi, finally returned home. She passed away peacefully in her family’s home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Elbert; parents, William H. “Tom” McNeese and Ada V. Sylvest McNeese; and brother, Paul Richard “Ricky” McNeese.
Survivors include her son, Brian Elbert (Michelle); grandsons, Ethan Elbert and Kyle Elbert; brothers, William H. “Tommy” McNeese Jr. and Paul Christopher “Chris” McNeese (Tracey); sister, Janet Stewart; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Hathorn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
