Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2019, at Colonial Funeral Home for Cora Mae Miller, 91, of Foxworth, who died on Friday, June 21 in Hattiesburg. Burial followed in Foxworth Cemetery. Rev. Willie Martin officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 23 at Colonial Funeral Home.
A native of Marion County, she was longtime owner of Miller Furniture and Appliances in Foxworth and a member of Antioch Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She loved spending time with all of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she was so proud.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Miller Sr.; parents, Richard and Pearl Forbes; brother, Gilbert Wayne Forbes, and daughter-in-law, Shelia Miller.
Survivors include her three sons, Mondal Miller (Betty), Jimmy Miller (Carol) and Charlie Miller; six grandchildren, Wayne Miller, Bo Miller, Eric Miller, Julie Freeman, Scarlet Sullivan and Bridget Kingston, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wayne Miller, Bo Miller, Eric Miller, Jason Kingston, Brent Sullivan, Cody Martin and Nathan Miller.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to donate in her memory to Antioch Baptist Church, 1526 Hwy 586, Foxworth, MS 39483 or Foxworth Cemetery.
