Funeral services were held at noon on June 2, 2018, in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel for Dimple Foxworth, 80, of Columbia, who passed away on Thursday, May 31. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Dr. Joe Wiggins officiated at the services and musical selections were provided by Larry and Carolyn Lott. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday, June 2, at Colonial Funeral Home.
She was a lifelong resident of Marion County and a 1955 graduate of Columbia High School. She was employed with Shepard’s Pharmacy in Columbia for over 40 years and was a member of North Columbia Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Foxworth; son, James Foxworth and brother, Roy McCain Jr.
Survivors include her son, Jason Foxworth of Senatobia; granddaughter, Haley Foxworth of Manhattan, N.Y.; two sisters, Sherry Buckley (Austin) of Columbia and Kay Boleware of Collierville, Tenn.
Pallbearers were Joe Pope, Mondal Miller, Buddy Jones, Howard Budget, Jimmy Pittman and John Sabine.
