Funeral service were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Hathorn Funeral Home for Mrs. Erma E. Moree, 87, of Columbia, who died on Sunday, March 25, in Hattiesburg. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bro. Doug Barber, Bro. Everette Broome and Bro. Steve Ellis officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of the services on Tuesday, March 27, at Hathorn Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Moree; parents John and Ada Ryals; two sons, Marty Carson and David Carson; one daughter, Doris Carson; one stepson, Tim Moree; one stepdaughter, Julia Moree; four brothers, Ernest Ryals, Howard Ryals, Ray Ryals and Terrell Ryals, and two sisters, Edna Calindrino and Eunice Douglas.
She is survived by her son, Kenny Carson (Pauline); stepson, David Moree; stepdaughter, Beverly Dykes; two sisters, Christine Rasmussan and Mazie Forbes; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Reggie Ryals, Jorge Miller, David Moree, Johnny Ryals, Robbie King and Jason Moree.
