Farelane “Ray” Pace

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, in Woodlawn Cemetery for Farelane "Ray" Pace, 66, of Columbia, who died on Saturday, Sept. 8 in Hattiesburg. Rev. Andrew Gatlin
officiated at the service.
He was born on Aug. 21, 1952, in Columbia. He is the son of Carley Pace Sr. and Vera Mae Ferguson Pace. He was a retired trucker and a member of Pleasant Hill Apostolic Pentecostal Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His family was his life. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Melvin Pace and Carley Pace Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Pace; two sons, Farrelyn Pace (Telisha) and Justin Pace (MaryAnn); one sister, Carolyn Lucas, and three grandchildren, Marlie Pace, Bella Pace and Booker Pace.
Pallbearers were his nephews.
