Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at China Grove Church of God in Christ in Tylertown for Herbert Otis Sr., 72, of Foxworth, who died on Wednesday, Dec. 19 in Jackson. Burial will follow in the New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ Cemetery in Foxworth. Elder Douglas Rayburn will render the Eulogy. Born on Monday, Dec. 9, 1946, in Marion County, he was the son of Marcus Otis and Lou Rachel Harvey. He was the husband of Zena Ryans Otis.
