Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Colonial Funeral Home for Mary Nell Price, 83, of Columbia, who died on Wednesday, Sept. 27, in Columbia. Interment followed in Sartinville Cemetery. Dr. Bryant Barnes officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday, Sept. 30, at Colonial Funeral Home.
She was a teacher. She taught 10 years at Columbia Presbyterian Church Kindergarten and 25 years at Columbia Primary School until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of First Baptist Church Columbia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Price; grandson, Chad Price; parents, Ado and Fleeta Robbins Renfroe; sister, Virginia Harvey, and brother, Jack Renfroe.
She is survived by her daughter, Regina Ford (Jerry) of Columbia; son, Danny Price (Gwen) of Foxworth; two sisters, Billie Sistrunk of Monticello and Migonne Thames of Ruth; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and caregiver, Mamie Harper.
Pallbearers were Will Ford, Ben Ford, Corey Price and Chris Price. Honorary pallbearers were Caden Price and Hunter Ford.
