Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, at Jesus Name Holiness Church in Poplarville for Doris B. Graham, 79, of Carriere, who died on Monday, Sept. 28 at her residence. Burial followed in Jesus Name Holiness Church Cemetery. Bros. Barry Duncan, Carol Gatlin and Johnny Williamson officiated at the services. Visitation was held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, until the time of the services on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at Jesus Name Holiness Church.
She will always be remembered as a woman devoted to prayer and the rock of her family. She loved her church and she loved her family dearly. With an outgoing personality, she never met a stranger and many can speak of her amazing cooking abilities. She lived with a selflessness and was always thinking of others. One of her favorite places was the Great Smoky Mountains and she enjoyed many trips and memories there.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Boleware; mother, Lora Moore; two grandchildren, Hershel Ray Pullens Jr. and Maranda Woodall; one son-in-law, Hershel Ray Pullens Sr.; three brothers, Alonzo Boleware Jr., James Boleware and Lynn Boleware; three sisters, Cout Moore, Mary Edwards and Annie Naquin, and one half-sister, Betty Reid.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Junior Antney Graham; seven sons, Cody Graham (Jane), Rickey Graham (Karen), Toney Graham, Cletis Graham (Ellen), Jessie Graham (Paula), Roger Graham, Hank Graham (Jackie); one daughter, Darlene Pullens; one sister, Gene Dychtwald (Jake); one brother, Terry Boleware (Zelda); two half-sisters, Peggy Williams (Johnny) and Juanita Buckley (Bryan); one half-brother, David Boleware (Mary); one sister-in-law, Dorothy Boleware; 28 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Toney Graham, Cletis Graham, Jessie Graham, Roger Graham, Hank Graham, Brant Graham and Ramsey Graham. Honorary pallbearers were Cody Graham and Richard Graham.
