Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at Colonial Funeral Home for Thomas Wayne Todd, 69, of Foxworth, who died in the presence of The Lord on Sunday, Aug. 16. Burial followed in Turnage Chapel Cemetery in Foxworth. Rev. Millard Moak officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until the time of the services of Thursday, Aug. 20 at Colonial Funeral Home.
A native of Ellisville and longtime resident of Foxworth, he proudly served in the United States Army and worked many years in the feed and seed business and then retired after managing convenience stores. He was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church in Soso and was an avid fisherman who felt “at home” in a boat. He loved the outdoors and was a very knowledgeable gun and knife enthusiast. He loved his family deeply and always had a “snappy” comeback and would have those around him bursting with laughter. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. Todd and Myrtle Dykes Todd, and brother, Lane Todd.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Todd of Foxworth; daughter, Kathryn Dement (Johnny) of Ocean Springs; two sons, Barry Todd (Cassie) of Vancleave and Michael Todd (Joni) of Ocean Springs; two stepchildren, Shannon Rose (Jeremy) of Purvis and Ryan Ryals (Crystal) of Fort Smith, Ark.; sister, Sandra Saucier of Saucier; a brother, Randall Todd (Kim) of Columbia; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Lambert, Jessica Brockett (Bryce), Austin Dement (Brittany), Dalton Dement, Kellan Todd, Preston Rose, Haleigh Rose and Taytum Ryals; five great-grandchildren, Brodie, Brantlee, Macy, Emma and Owen, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Austin Dement, Dalton Dement, Ryan Ryals, Jeremy Rose, Barry Todd and Michael Todd. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Fisher, Larry Terrell and Michael Ward.
