A private graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2020, in Society Hill Cemetery for Alberta “Bic” Tagert Robertson, 91, of Mountain View, Ark., who passed away on Wednesday, April 1 in Mountain View, Ark. Bro. Marcus Kelly officiated at the service. A Facebook live feed was available.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Gladys Crout Tagert; first husband, James E. Martin; second husband, James Ren Robertson; son, Terry J. Martin; four sisters, Louise Broome, Vera Broome, Betty Abene and Chris Williamson; four brothers, Denis Tagert, Ronnie Tagert, "Jake" Harry Tagert and Greg Tagert, and one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Riley.
Survivors include her daughter, Melanie Broome of Mountain View‚ Ark.; two sisters, Johnye Skeen and Patty Spiers‚ both of Columbia; one brother, Kerry Tagert (Ruthie) of Vancleave; five grandchildren, Carmen Riley (Matthew) of Dike, Texas, Tiffany Wheat (Joey) of Gulfport, Miranda Porter (Merrell) of Bassfield, T.J. Martin (Destiny) of Foxworth and Tony Martin of St. Petersburg, Fla.; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
