Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Hathorn Funeral Home for Betty C. Arrant, 81, of Columbia, who died on Monday, March 2 in Hattiesburg. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Dr. Bryant Barnes officiated at the services. Visitation was held from noon until the time of the services on Tuesday, March 3 at Hathorn Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Maggie Cox; brother, Jerry Cox, and sister, Frances Benton.
Survivors include her son, Milton Wade Sanders, and sister, Claris Cox.
Pallbearers were Eugene Blue Green, Charlie Pope, Larry Bedwell and Mike Russell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite children’s charity or to the First Baptist Church of Columbia.
