Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, at Hathorn Funeral Home for Charlene McArn, 89, of Gulfport, who died on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in Gulfport. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Marcus Kelly officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until the time of the services on Friday, Jan. 17 at Hathorn Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavell McArn; parents, Bert and Elmira Cooper, and brother, Tommy Carol Cooper.
Survivors include her three sons, Glen McArn (Geney) of Biloxi, and Gary McArn (Cynthia) and Cooper McArn, both of Gulfport; brother, Billy Joe Cooper (Billie) of Bunker Hill; sisters, Earlene Shivers of Terry and Sharon Williams of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren, Lacey McArn, Jo Anna Bush, Christopher Ruesga, Adrienne Dunn, Allison Allen, Clinton Ardis, Robert Cory McArn Sr., Megan Waller, Kelsey Brown, Kristen Hilbun, Lillian McArn, Madilyn McArn and Sabrina Olszewski; great-grandchildren, Kyson McArn, Conner Wheat, Karleigh Ann Bush, Kimber Lynne Bush, Kinglsey Nicole Jackson, Michael Joseph Ruesga, Brody Olszewski, Colin Olszewski, Makaela Ardis, Gavin Ardis, Enders Allen, Drew Dunn, McKenzie Dunn, Avery Hilbun, Autumn Hilbun, Adelyn Hilbun, Aria Hilbun, Piper Brown, McKinley Brown, Riley Waller, Melia Waller, Skyler Waller, Robert Cory McArn, Jr., Tristan McArn, Kaitlyn McArn and Tyler McArn, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Clinton Ardis, Robert Cory McArn Sr., Drew Dunn, Robert Cory McArn Jr., Christopher Jackson and Brandon Waller.
