Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday April 13, 2020, in Society Hill Cemetery for Demple Langston, 88, of Columbia, who died on Friday, April 10 in Columbia. Rev. Millard Moak officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the services.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Langston; parents, Floyd and Letris Pittman Langston; a sister, Dott Cochran, and brothers, Terrell Langston and Pat Langston.
Survivors include her daughter, Gail Whittington and husband, Loren; two sons, Randy Langston and wife, Melinda, and John Langston and wife Sandi; three grandchildren, Jordan Whittington, Justin Langston, and Seth Langston; three great-grandchildren, Tristan Langston, Harper Whittington, and Griffin “Finn” Whittington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
