Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, at the Bellevue Baptist Church in Hattiesburg for Joyce Justina McIntosh, 71, of Hattiesburg, who died on Saturday, Dec. 28 in Hattiesburg. Burial followed in Bellevue Baptist Church. Bro. Billy Ready officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30 at the Hathorn Funeral Home.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, neighbor and friend. She was an active member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.
She embraced all with her contagious smile and hugs. She always gave a helping hand to her family and neighbors, receiving joy by doing for others.
She and her husband owned and operated Southern Monument Company in Foxworth. She utilized her management and bookkeeping skills, supporting her husband in all aspects of the business.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ordie Bullock and Minnie Lee Bullock, and two brothers, Larry Bullock (Joan) and Danny Bullock (Beverly).
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Reggie McIntosh; her two daughters, Justina Arnold and Angel Campbell (David); three grandchildren, Hannah Arnold, Kala Kennedy (T.J) and Blake Baughman (Lauren), and her sister, Martha Toney (Jack).
Pallbearers were Blake Baughman, T.J. Kennedy, Tony Baughman, Paul Young, Everette Aultman, Allen Reagan and Jabus Bullock.
