A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Brushy Creek Baptist Church for Justin Wendell Dement, 32, of Columbia, who died on Friday, March 6 at his residence. Burial will follow in Old Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Robert Cole and Bro. Doug Barber will officiate at the services. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday, March 14 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Francis Blakeney, and grandfathers, Carol Blakeney and Wyatt Wendell Dement.
Survivors include his wife, Kendra Davis Dement of Columbia; mother, Crystal Madison Dement of Baxterville; father, Steven Wendell Dement (Martha) of Columbia; daughters, Evie Ann Dement and Alexis Dearman, both of Columbia; stepsons, Toxie Davis and Wesley Davis, both of Columbia; brother, Jamie Blakeney (Kellye) of Oxford; sister, Amber Dement of Baxterville; stepbrother, Garrett Montgomery of Sumrall; stepsisters, Heather Montgomery and Amber Montgomery, both of Sumrall; grandmother, Dean Robbins of Columbia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
