Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Marion County for Lammey Juanita Alford, 66, of Lumberton, who died on Monday, Feb. 24 at her residence. Burial followed in Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Scotty Chabert officiated at the services. Visitation was held from noon until the time of the services on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Clear Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Luther and Trudie Hall; sister, Syretta Clune, and brothers, Clinton Hall, Winston Hall and G.E. Hall.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas C. Alford of Lumberton; daughter, Christina Y. Alford (Jordan) of Lumberton; sisters, Linda Sparks of Columbus, Ga., and Sandra Sly of Manassas, Va.; brother, Jimmy Hall of Brantley, Ala., and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
