Wayne “Whistle” Prine

A private graveside service was held on Sunday, June 14, 2020, in Randall Family Cemetery for Wayne “Whistle” Prine, 83, who died on Friday, June 5 at his residence.
A native of Marion County, he was an alignment technician with Prine Alignment in Columbia, where he worked for 15 years, and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Ann Prine Kemp; parents, Leroy Prine and Edna Randall Prine; sisters, Reta Kay Prine and Merle Hollis.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Prine of Columbia; two daughters, Martha Jo Norton (David) of Columbia, Linda Bedwell (Scott) of Foxworth; two sons, Robert Earl Prine (Bridget) of Foxworth and Charlie Prine (Susan) of Columbia; sisters, Alice Broom, Ruby Jewel Broom, Sylvia Sanford, Betty Broom (Bill), Linda Cox, Judy Prine, Janice McAllister (Kenny) and Nita Cook; brothers, Ralph “Bo” Prine (Becky) and Johnny Prine; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
