Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at Woodlawn Church for Tommy E. Dunaway Sr., 75, of Foxworth, who died on Friday, Feb. 8. Burial followed in Morgantown Cemetery. Rev. James Carney, Rev. Jerron Carney, Rev. Darrin Powell and Rev. Jerry Terrell officiated the services. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Woodlawn Church.
He was a member of Woodlawn Church for 56 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. "Nig" and Effie Holmes Graham; wife, Barbara “Bea” Pearson Dunaway, and one brother, Phillip Dunaway.
Survivors include his son, Tommy “T.J.” Dunaway (Gigi) of Columbia, and daughter, Tammy Lynn Blackwell (Clark), six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
