Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Hathorn Funeral Home for Wilkie Louise Moore, 86, of Foxworth, who died on Sunday, March 24 in Columbia. Burial followed in Kokomo Cemetery. Bro. Glen Nace officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 at Hathorn Funeral Home.
As a long-time resident of Marion County, she was a faithful member of Foxworth Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sedgie and Johnnie Pittman; husband, Joseph Moore; two sons, Richard Moore and Roger Moore; one sister, Syble Wesley, and one brother, Charles Dudley Pittman.
Survivors include her son, Ron Moore (Hope) of Foxworth; three brothers, Sedgie Ray Pittman (Glenda) of Oloh and John Pittman and Travis Pittman (Janie), both of Foxworth; one sister, Alberta Brown of Baton Rouge; 11 grandchildren, Justin Moore, Christopher Moore, Arial Hulin (Justin), Sedgie Moore, Traci Moore, Brennen Varnado, Anton Moore, Tori Moore, Celine Moore, Abbie Moore and Baylee Moore; one great-grandchild, Havynn Hulin, and a number of nieces and nephews.
